The position of Market President / Commercial Lender assists in maintaining this standard by managing full-service branches within their assigned region and providing loans for our business customers. The Market President is responsible for the management and delegation of branch operations and branch personnel, including performing supervisory duties, coordinating managerial staff coverage, and administrating the efficiency of operations, lending, customer service, and security departments. A Market President should also develop new deposit and loan business, provide superior customer relations, promote the sales and service culture of the bank, achieve branch and region sales goals, and participate in community affairs to increase bank visibility and enhance business opportunities. As a Commercial Lender, the Market President is also responsible for soliciting, negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of commercial loans with respect to lending regulations and bank policy. As part of our team, Commercial Lenders also prospect new customers, provide active engagement in their communities, and present loan packages to our loan team and committee. New Lenders will be expected to manage both current accounts as well as initiate new business by identifying potential business customers in need of bank financial support.
