About The Position

ABC Legal Service is the national leader in filing service of legal documents and is seeking talented new team members to support its growth. With over 1100 employees and offices across the US, ABC Legal Service has been a leader in its industry for over 40 years, continuously advancing its technology and business processes. This role is responsible for major Southwest markets, with a primary focus on Arizona and Texas. The position requires identifying supply and demand imbalances, managing relationships with high-volume servers, and ensuring the region meets its Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This role blends strategy and execution, collaborating with centralized teams to implement strategies on the ground, drive market changes, and provide feedback for network-wide scaling. It also involves close work with Compliance, Support, and Experience teams. This is a builder role, responsible for creating and executing the operational playbook in real-time. The position is remote but requires the candidate to be located in Arizona, Texas, or Las Vegas.

Requirements

Experience owning a local market, territory, or region in a marketplace, gig, or field operations environment.
Comfort balancing supply and demand using data and on-the-ground judgment.
Experience coaching at least one direct report, demonstrating an ability to coach them to higher performance.
Willingness to be actively involved in the market, not just in a remote strategy capacity.
Ability to distill market observations into clear, actionable feedback for strategy teams.
Strong communication skills to clearly report market health to leadership through written updates.
Experience balancing supply and demand by combining in-market observations with data.
Willingness to experiment, iterate, and quickly scale successful learnings.

Nice To Haves

Experience running structured pilots or tests with clear hypotheses and providing learnings that scaled.
SQL or dashboard fluency (Metabase, Looker, Claude Code).
Comfortable working in Jira or a similar tracker for pilot management.
Experience using platforms like Intercom for network-facing communication.
Experience building in ambiguous environments where a playbook did not previously exist.
Experience managing someone in a contract or hourly role and understanding the nuances of that coaching.

Responsibilities

Manage supply and demand balance across Southwest regions, identifying coverage gaps, recruiting new process servers, managing dispatch strategies, and increasing server capacity in Arizona and Texas.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with the region's highest-volume servers, acting as the primary point of contact for ABC Legal in the market.
Conduct root cause analysis for issues, clearly defining problems and proposing solutions.
Serve as the point of contact for incident response in the region during market disruptions (e.g., app outages, dispatch bottlenecks, weather events), translating on-the-ground situations into real-time guidance for the network and leadership.
Execute marketplace pilots, including running tests, tracking performance, and reporting findings with speed and honesty.
Manage regional incentive spending within budget, in partnership with the Sr. Director, and proactively identify programs that are exceeding budget.
Achieve regional Service Level Objective (SLO) attainment by tier, close coverage gaps, and report on market health.
Provide structured feedback to refine and scale incentive programs, dispatch rules, and pay mechanics to other markets.
