About The Position

ICE NGX Inc. is seeking a Market Operator to provide essential services to its customer base of over 250 companies. This role involves gas scheduling, reporting, index verification, price settlements, and software support for ICE NGX's proprietary systems.

Requirements

• Analytical and organizational business-oriented skill set.
• Excellent interpersonal and telephone customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and act independently as required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel, MS Word and MS Access.
• Available for shift, weekend and on call working hours.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience in physical natural gas control or natural gas operations.
• Working knowledge or training in the natural gas industry, specifically in the area of physical natural gas scheduling, gas control, help desk support and pipeline nominations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Field incoming customer calls pertaining to trading and clearing issues as relating to ICE NGX’s proprietary clearing software and/or ICE trading and administration software used in the support of the 250+ customers of ICE NGX.
• Calculate and publish daily price marks for over 50,000 natural gas, power and crude instruments.
• Nominate, schedule, and confirm all physical transactions to the applicable natural gas and crude oil pipelines.
• Develop and distribute statistical data queries as requested by clients of ICE NGX.
• Provide support to ICE NGX internal customers.
• Verify accuracy of ICE NGX invoices and published natural gas indices.
• Monitor the ICE NGX products on the ICE trading system and day-to-day market trading activity, providing settlements and statistical daily summaries.
