About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Market Manager, Supply Chain Implementation, for our Central Coast locations. Candidate must be based in the Central Coast area (e.g., Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo) and be willing to travel extensively (approx. 50%) across Ventura County to Redwood, including monthly visits to each facility (6-7 hospitals) Primarily responsible for anticipating, organizing, communicating, and ensuring compliance for Supply Chain (SSRM) implementations within a market. Leads the market management of conversions with a focus on capturing the total value of the agreement for facilities within their scope. This position leverages influence and expertise to coordinate this work across an expansive network of stakeholders to achieve market and system-level savings targets. Additionally, this position is the primary point of contact for clinical engagement, enforcement of vendor management policies, new product requests, and trial coordination. Essential Functions: Works collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders on local and system-wide implementations to ensure the achievement of hospital and CommonSpirit goals. Functions as a liaison between end-users of contracted supplies and services, clinical and non-clinical team members, and SSRM colleagues. Leads cost reduction programs and assists with developing strategies across the critical supply areas that impact our end-users. Anticipates the impact of implementations on their market and collaborates/communicates with clinicians, physicians, and other hospital departments as needed to ensure the success of conversions. Assists with quality aspects, analytics, and education to ensure seamless conversions of products and services. Communicates savings initiatives to clinical and non-clinical end-users – including participation in local stakeholder meetings. Oversees the contract exception process, supports clinical trials, and manages the new product request process within the market. Monitors vendor credentialing systems for compliance and restricts vendor access when necessary. Demonstrates excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and is able to articulate opportunities and challenges involved with implementations. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience OR a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in the discipline OR a Master’s Degree
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Supply Chain within a health care facility system or other relevant experience
  • Change Management and Leadership (LEAD) experience required within the first year.
  • Candidate must be based in the Central Coast area (e.g., Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo)
  • Willing to travel extensively (approx. 50%) across Ventura County to Redwood, including monthly visits to each facility (6-7 hospitals)
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and is able to articulate opportunities and challenges involved with implementations.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical hospital experience strongly preferred.
  • Team management and progressive experience in project management strongly preferred.
