GEA Group is searching for a Market Manager to join their team! The Market Manager will drive growth across the liquid processing portfolio by engaging customers, building success stories, and strengthening GEA liquid processing positioning in liquid dairy and non-alcoholic beverages. This role involves identifying target customers and opportunities through market analysis, sales intelligence, portfolio data, and Regional Sales Manager input, translating insights into focused selling strategies that increase customer buy-in. The Market Manager will own the front-end evaluation of new business opportunities by integrating commercial, technical, and regulatory inputs into opportunity recommendations, product line feedback, and Liquid Horizon roadmap priorities. They will partner with Regional Sales Managers, Technical Offer Management (TOM)/application engineering, and customers to advance qualified pipeline opportunities, clarify scopes, accelerate proposal development, and strengthen long-term customer partnerships. The role supports the pursuit of brownfield, customized liquid processing projects such as line expansions, new lines, added process steps, reception bays, syrup rooms, and layouts that include GEA core technologies where possible. The Market Manager will promote agile project qualification and execution practices, including pre-established sales prequalification criteria, rapid sales–presales alignment, site-based discussions, and clear scope alignment. They will lead data-driven portfolio analysis and market prioritization to maximize profitable growth, increase hit rate, and focus resources on opportunities where GEA can win competitively. Additionally, the Market Manager will accelerate knowledge transfer to Non-Alcoholic Beverages (NAB) and Dairy Regional Sales Managers through on-the-job coaching, customer/prospect reviews, technical solution framing, and reinforcement of the new Liquid Horizon operating model. This role also coordinates cross-functional actions with Sales, Strategy, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Business Line, and local contractors to improve competitiveness, standardize core design approaches, and reduce response time.
