About The Position

The Market Leader serves as the senior leader of Trucordia within a defined market, responsible for driving profitable growth, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring operational excellence. This role holds full accountability for revenue performance, sales execution, talent development, and market presence, while aligning local strategy with Platform objectives. Acting as both a market executive and hands-on sales leader, the Market Leader builds a strong sales culture, expands client relationships, and represents Trucordia externally with clients, carriers, and community partners. This position reports to the Senior Vice President of the Platform.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the insurance brokerage industry
  • Demonstrated success in sales leadership, revenue growth, and team development
  • Strong knowledge of property & casualty (commercial and personal lines); employee benefits experience a plus
  • Proven ability to manage financial performance (P&L) and execute growth strategies

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver market-level revenue, growth, and profitability targets
  • Drive new business development, cross-selling, and client retention across all lines of business
  • Lead a disciplined sales management process, including pipeline reviews, forecasting, and CRM utilization (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Actively participate in and support complex or high-value sales opportunities
  • Establish and reinforce a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, activity, and results
  • Recruit, develop, and retain producers
  • Provide consistent coaching, performance management, and mentorship
  • Lead regular sales meetings, training sessions, and development initiatives
  • Align team goals with market strategy and foster a collaborative, results-driven culture
  • Serve as the face of Trucordia in the local market, building strong relationships with clients, carriers, and business partners
  • Expand market presence through networking, community engagement, and strategic partnerships
  • Support recruitment efforts by leveraging industry networks to attract top talent
  • Maintain full responsibility for market P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management
  • Partner with Platform Operations Leadership to ensure efficient workflows, compliance, and process standardization
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) related to growth, service, and productivity
  • Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and client experience
  • Align market strategy with broader Platform goals and initiatives
  • Collaborate with Platform Leadership and peer Market Leaders to share best practices and drive consistency
  • Partner across business lines (commercial, personal, employee benefits) to deliver integrated client solutions
