Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service. Prepares various foods for the Market Grille and is responsible for all hot foods and cold foods including available heat-and-eat varieties. This role requires the ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization, perform simple calculations, and understand/follow instructions. The cook will prepare cooking surfaces, vegetables, sides, meats, breakfast foods, and all menu items, ensuring food is placed in hot cases and refilled as necessary. They must be knowledgeable of all menu items, take guest orders, and prepare items for upcoming shifts. A strong understanding of sanitation procedures and maintaining a clean work area is essential, along with strict adherence to personal hygiene and dress guidelines. The position also involves secondary duties such as ordering product and supplies, assisting in other store areas as needed, and performing other job-related duties and special projects.
