Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service. Prepares various foods for the Market Grille and is responsible for all hot foods and cold foods including available heat-and-eat varieties. This role requires the ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization, perform simple calculations, and understand/follow instructions. The cook will prepare cooking surfaces, vegetables, sides, meats, breakfast foods, and all menu items, ensuring food is placed in hot cases and refilled as necessary. They must be knowledgeable of all menu items, take guest orders, and prepare items for upcoming shifts. Maintaining a clean work area, adhering to sanitation procedures, and following company guidelines for hygiene and dress are crucial. The position also involves assisting customers, answering phones, and working collaboratively with co-workers.
