Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service. Prepares various foods for the Market Grille, including all hot and cold foods, and available heat-and-eat varieties. This role is responsible for cooking surfaces, preparing vegetables, sides, meats, breakfast foods, and all menu items. The cook places food in hot cases, monitors amounts, and refills as necessary. They must be knowledgeable of all menu items and able to take guest orders. Additionally, the cook prepares items for upcoming shifts, ensures personal understanding of all aspects of the Market Grille, and understands and practices proper sanitation procedures, keeping the work area clean and neat. Strict adherence to department and company guidelines regarding personal hygiene and dress is required. The employee must report to work when scheduled and on time.
