Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service. Prepares various foods for the Market Grille and is responsible for all hot foods and cold foods including available heat-and-eat varieties. This role involves preparing cooking surfaces, vegetables, sides, meats, and breakfast foods, as well as all menu items. The cook will place food in hot cases, monitor amounts, and refill as necessary. They must be knowledgeable of all menu items and able to take guest orders, prepare items for upcoming shifts, and ensure a thorough understanding of all aspects of the Market Grille. Maintaining proper sanitation procedures and ensuring a clean and neat work area are crucial. Strict adherence to department and company guidelines regarding personal hygiene and dress is required, as is reporting to work on time and when scheduled.
