Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service. Prepares various foods for the Market Grille and is responsible for all hot foods and cold foods including available heat-and-eat varieties. This role involves preparing cooking surfaces, vegetables, sides, meats, breakfast foods, and all menu items. The cook will place food in hot cases, monitor amounts, and refill as necessary. They must be knowledgeable of all menu items and able to take guest orders. Additionally, the cook prepares items for upcoming shifts, ensures personal understanding of all aspects of the Market Grille, and understands and practices proper sanitation procedures, ensuring the work area is always clean and neat. Strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress is required, as is reporting to work when scheduled and on time.
