Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service. Prepares various foods for the Market Grille and is responsible for all hot foods and cold foods including available heat-and-eat varieties. This role requires a helpful and engaged individual committed to supporting customers and colleagues. The cook will prepare cooking surfaces, vegetables, sides, meats, breakfast foods, and all menu items. They will also place food in hot cases, monitor amounts, and refill as necessary. Knowledge of all menu items and the ability to take guest orders are essential. The cook will prepare items for upcoming shifts, ensure understanding of all aspects of the Market Grille, and practice proper sanitation procedures, maintaining a clean and neat work area. Strict adherence to department and company guidelines regarding personal hygiene and dress is required, as is adherence to company policies and individual store guidelines. Reporting to work on time and when scheduled is mandatory.
