About The Position

Hudl is seeking a Market Director to expand its sports facilities business and manage its daily operations. This role involves defining and executing a strategic roadmap for the Youth, Club & High School business unit, focusing on increasing facility camera coverage and creating content for global fan and talent products. The Market Director will be responsible for driving strategy, boosting revenue and profitability, constructing sales pitches, expanding the market, engaging customers, ensuring successful implementation, and leading and developing teams. This position requires relocation to Lincoln or Omaha, NE.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience within the sports industry with a strong track record of high performance.
  • Deep knowledge of the facilities market and the ability to connect facility coverage to business value across multiple markets.
  • Proven ability to manage internal alignment, guide teams toward critical goals, and influence people to adopt new workflows.
  • Excellence in cross-functional problem-solving and building creative solutions.
  • Comfort in translating complex data into practical, actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Hands-on experience negotiating content rights, camera installation agreements, and long-term facility contracts.

Nice To Haves

  • 10 or more years of relevant experience in the sports technology or facilities industry.
  • Established strategic relationships with facility operators, leagues, governing bodies, and anchor club tenants.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic roadmap for third-party-owned, club-owned, and school-owned venues, ranking facility targets based on game density, talent density, and revenue potential.
  • Manage the P&L for the facilities market segment, including creating pricing strategies, setting sales targets, and building revenue forecasts for streaming, ticketing, event payments, and team subscriptions.
  • Shape the offer, pricing, packaging, and value story for each facility type, creating a repeatable sales motion.
  • Grow relationships with facility owners, operators, leagues, and governing bodies, leading negotiations for exclusive streaming rights, ticketing agreements, and camera installation contracts.
  • Own end-to-end implementation to ensure signed plans are delivered and facilities realize promised value.
  • Mentor and train team members, assist with onboarding, and develop individuals within the broader team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Finance teams to align on the facilities roadmap.
