About The Position

The Market Director of Patient Safety provides strategic leadership for patient safety, high reliability, event management, and harm reduction initiatives across multiple hospitals and ambulatory settings within a market or region. This role collaborates with executive leadership, medical staff, quality leaders, risk management, and clinical operations to foster a culture of safety, ensure regulatory compliance, reduce preventable harm, and drive continuous performance improvement. Dotted line reporting structure to Corporate Patient Safety Director.

Requirements

• Master's Degree Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Quality Management, or related field required
• 7 years of combined experience in clinical practice and progressive healthcare leadership experience
• 2 years of experience in Patient Safety, Quality, Risk Management, or healthcare operations
• CPPS certification

Nice To Haves

• Multi-facility, market, or system level leadership experience strongly preferred
• Additional Certification such as CPHRM or CPHQ
