About The Position

As a Market Development Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing SEA's market position, product penetration, and profitability within an assigned market. Your role will focus on identifying growth opportunities, executing strategic initiatives, and enhancing brand awareness through strong retail execution and consumer engagement. Success in this role will be determined by your ability to analyze market trends, foster strategic partnerships, and drive favorable retail experiences that support business objectives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 8-12 years of directly related experience, preferably a bachelor’s degree
  • Prior experience in sales generation and marketing methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Prior experience managing a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to write, read, analyze, interpret, present, and explain wireless terminals’ technical product and development materials
  • Experience with Microsoft Standard Office Suite and extensive use of presentation software

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred and 8+ years of directly related experience
  • Prior experience in the telecommunications industry

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed all sales and operational KPIs to ensure continuous market growth
  • Gather and communicate market intelligence and insights to corporate partners to influence strategic decision-making
  • Develop partnerships with key stakeholders to drive KPIs
  • Analyze reports and identify opportunities to increase revenue and market share within the assigned market
  • Work closely with retail sales associates, managers, and local industry leaders to ensure best-in-class merchandising and brand representation at retail locations
  • Facilitate all logistics for large group training sessions for retail sales associates and managers on Samsung products and services
  • Collaborate with peers to deliver organizational initiatives to educate, develop, and drive operational excellence within the team
  • Execute national go-to-market strategies for all product launches, ensuring seamless integration into the retail environment
  • Address staffing, performance management, and key market initiatives
  • Validate scheduling and workforce alignment with business needs
  • Support operational effectiveness by overseeing co-employment challenges and providing solutions for seamless execution
