This role is responsible for various warehouse operations including unloading and receiving inbound shipments, staging items for delivery, loading outbound freight, product assembly, and pre-delivery inspections. The associate will also maintain a clean and safe work environment, operate recycling equipment, and participate in sustainability programs. Key responsibilities include daily inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, audits, adjustments, and inventory reporting. The role requires managing all functions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS), generating and monitoring reports, and utilizing systems like MS Office, Blue Yonder, and My Red Vest. Additionally, the associate will execute the Return to Manufacturer (RTM) program, process and disposition various types of merchandise (damaged, discontinued, defective, etc.), secure return authorizations, and submit credits. Communication with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to resolve delivery claims and maintaining relationships with vendors and other teams are also crucial. The associate will resolve customer and cargo issues and ensure claims are updated in Lowe’s systems.
