About The Position

This position consists of a variety of duties including but not limited to customer service activities, operating a cash register, maintaining store conditions, and processing inventory. The role requires presenting a helpful and positive image to customers, answering questions as needed, and contributing to a friendly, customer service-oriented environment. The varied job duties are designed to keep work interesting and rewarding.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age
Professional, positive communication skills
Must be able to lift 50 Lbs

Responsibilities

Manages customer check-out through the cash register
Stocks shelves (dry, frozen, or refrigerated) as needed
Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
Assists in merchandising product within the store
Assists in the cleaning of store shelves and immediate work area
Assists in identifying and pricing product ready to go to the floor
Assists in receiving and processing delivery trucks daily
Presents a helpful and positive image to customers and answers questions as needed
Assumes responsibility for the workplace safety of self and co-workers, and for the safety conditions of the work locations, exercises and promotes safe behaviors and shows unyielding support of programs, rules and policies regarding safety.
