About The Position

Provide efficient, friendly service to guests. Prepare and serve menu items while assisting guests with sales. Maintain cleanliness and neatness of The Market while keeping the guests happy and providing any necessary assistance to them. Assist The Market manager with monthly inventory counting. Complete all necessary paperwork; account for sales, money and charges during shift.

Requirements

• Basic arithmetic skills
• Mathematical skills
• Ability to speak, write and understand English
• Able to follow instructions
• Present adequate manners and respect
• Ability to read, write, keep basic records and able to do simple arithmetic
• After completion of training have a safe working practice using all equipment and cleaning supplies
• Must like dealing with the public and enjoy doing so
• Must be able to work alone, as well as collaborate with other employees without constant supervision and be self-motivated and perform duties quickly and efficiently

Nice To Haves

• Any prior knowledge or experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and appearance to exceed guest standards.
• Restock items as they run low.
• Prepare and serve menu items at the counter, tables and courtyard.
• Complete all necessary paperwork due during your scheduled shift.
• Put away any orders when necessary, as well as fill out order forms when necessary.
• Always maintain a clean work environment while performing opening shift, mid shift, and closing shift duties.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests by greeting them with a smile and positive attitude while responding quickly and efficiently to their requests.
• Account for sales, money and charges during shift.
• Assist The Market manager with monthly inventory counting.
