About The Position

The Madison Club is seeking a Market Attendant for full-time or part-time seasonal work from October 2026 to June 2027. This role requires a flexible schedule, availability to work weekends and holidays, and an understanding that time off will not be granted during March, April, or during any festivals, special events, and tournaments. The Market Attendant will serve as the welcoming hospitality presence of The Market, preparing and serving beverages, maintaining knowledge of all offerings, assisting members with purchases and inquiries, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the Market areas.

Requirements

  • Current Riverside County Food Handler Card Required within 7 days of hire.
  • Competency with POS systems.
  • Effective communication in English.
  • Ability to follow written, oral or diagram instructions.
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours; bend, stoop, reach, twist.
  • Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, and rain.
  • Outgoing, friendly, courteous, patient demeanor at all times.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to uniform policies.
  • Demonstrated competency through training schedule.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous F&B, Barista experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet members with eye contact, a genuine smile, and professional demeanor.
  • Serve as the welcoming hospitality presence of the The Market.
  • Prepare and serve all Market beverages including coffee, espresso, tea, smoothies, juices, and specialty drinks with consistency and quality.
  • Maintain full knowledge of all Market offerings including grab and go items, beverages, retail products, daily specials, and DLC Madison Club information.
  • Be able to answer all questions about our food and beverage, and all products in the Market.
  • Assist members with retail purchases, product recommendations, and general inquiries.
  • Restock and assist management ordering all Marekt items throughout the day including beverages, packaged foods, retail merchandise, paper goods, dry goods, and serviceware.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all Market areas and equipment: including beverage stations, pizza oven area, retail shelves, refrigeration units, and grab and go displays.
  • Monitor product freshness, expiration dates, and quality of perishable items.
  • Prepare Market stations for opening, midshaft, and closing duties according to department standards.
  • Maintain proper food handling procedures per Riverside County Food Handler requirements.
  • Communicate special needs (allergies, dietary restrictions, member details) to kitchen, management and appropriate staff members where applicable.
  • Assist in inventory counts, ordering and stock rotation.
  • Verify accuracy of food orders before delivery. Audit all member checks for accuracy before posting.
  • Follow posted side work and assist in all F&B areas as needed.
  • Greet members formally; recognize members and families.
  • Deliver food and beverages across all club areas as needed (pool, locker rooms, golf course, residential, புகைப்படம்).
  • Communicate member complaints or issues immediately to management.
  • Provide warm farewell upon departure.
  • Input all food & beverage orders accurately into POS system.
  • Always maintain professional appearance and uniform standards.
  • Treat members and coworkers with courtesy, respect, and discretion always.
  • Support a safe working environment and follow emergency response procedures.
  • Assist all F&B areas when operationally needed (pool, locker room, golf course, residential, clubhouse).
  • Respond promptly to member and management requests.
  • Uphold Madison Club service standards at all times.
  • Follow all club policies, SOPs, and leadership direction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
