Ready to join a team that’s pioneering the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease. Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque. The Market Access & Reimbursement Analyst supports the Market Access team in securing and protecting reimbursement and favorable coverage for the company's medical device portfolio. The role provides the research, analysis and coordination that sit behind our value evidence, payer engagement, data analytics, and health technology assessment work across multiple markets. It is designed as a development role for a recent postgraduate who already has practical reimbursement exposure from an internship or work experience and is ready to build a career in Medtech market access. The analyst works within the Market Access function with exposure to, and involvement in projects spanning health economics, evidence generation, coding and payment analytics. Day-to-day direction comes from US Market Access Lead with regular exposure to the wider team and to colleagues in clinical, commercial and medical affairs. The role is deliberately broad, so the person gains a rounded view of how access is won and then defended over the life of a product.
