About The Position

WLH Consulting and Learning Solutions is seeking an experienced Market Access Expert Advisor to join its bench of senior experts. This part-time, project-based independent contractor role provides subject matter expertise to life sciences clients on payer, health system, and value-based care dynamics. The advisor contributes to client proposals, strategy conversations, webinars, and project work, lending credibility and practical depth to WLH’s client engagements. The role requires expertise in the pharmaceutical customer landscape, including payers, PBMs, health systems, and IDNs, and the ability to explain how these stakeholders operate and evolve. The advisor counsels pharmaceutical and biotechnology commercial organizations on effective customer engagement. Engagements may include client calls and workshops, advising project teams, presenting on current market access topics, and reviewing deliverables. The position starts on a part-time contract basis and typically requires 10 to 20 hours per week during active engagements, with lighter periods between engagements. It is remote within the United States, with occasional travel for client sessions and workshops. The contractor position does not include benefits.
