About The Position

Mark-Taylor is excited to welcome new team members at our Hiring Event! We're looking to expand our team as we take on new business in the Phoenix Valley. We're interviewing for all on-site roles in locations ranging from Buckeye, Glendale, Surprise, Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, Scottsdale, Chandler, and Gilbert. We're conducting in-person interviews for all open and future positions including Porter/Groundskeeper, Maintenance Technician, Lead Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, Roving Service Technician, Painter, Leasing Consultant, Senior Leasing Consultant, Assistant Community Manager, and Community Manager.

Requirements

• General knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool maintenance, carpentry, landscaping, appliances, and OSHA-related standards.
• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or related field is preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a working cell phone.
• Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
• Brings a positive, enthusiastic attitude to the team.
• Basic computer skills.
• A minimum of one year of sales or customer service experience.
• Comfort and ability to resolve conflict and provide a high level of customer care.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Goal orientated, self-starter work ethic.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

Nice To Haves

• One or more industry specific professional certifications (EPA, HVAC, CPO, OSHA or similar) is preferred.
• Associates and/or bachelor’s degree preferred.
