The company is seeking a Maritime Market Director to join its dynamic Buildings Team, ideally based in the NYC or Miami office. This role reports to the Executive Vice President, Buildings, and involves leading and managing multiple seller-doers within the Buildings Sector Maritime Market. The director will be responsible for enhancing Woolpert's reputation through client satisfaction, revenue growth, and superior service delivery. The position requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational acumen, and a skillset that is both impactful and influential. A key focus is on achieving internal controls to ensure alignment between planning, execution, delivery, and strategic objectives, requiring effective collaboration across all departments. Success will be measured by professional development, market penetration, and targeted KPIs, with an emphasis on gross sales and net revenue, aligned with Woolpert’s Project Fundamentals and Strategic Plan. Candidates must possess an extensive Maritime background and strong industry connections. The Maritime Market encompasses a wide array of projects and client types globally, including public and private ports (cruise, cargo, bulk, industrial commodities), maritime-related companies (cruise lines, cargo terminal operators, third-party developers, tourism developers), and recreational marinas. Work is worldwide, with current focus in North America, Europe, and Australasia. This market covers all development aspects, including strategic and tactical planning, engineering of harbors, piers, and marine infrastructure, design of port-related buildings (cruise terminals, associate maritime buildings), destination development for cruise lines, and market and financial studies.
