About The Position
Since 1934, G&H Towing has provided harbor ship escorts, docking, and undocking in Galveston, Houston, Texas City, Corpus Christi, and Freeport, Texas, for tanker, bulk, and container customers. The engineer is responsible for properly operating and maintaining all mechanical equipment on the vessel. The engineer's primary responsibility is to safely operate and efficiently maintain vessel machinery. Requirements
- Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
- Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) with a medical certificate
Responsibilities
- Properly operating and maintaining all mechanical equipment on the vessel.
- Safely operate and efficiently maintain vessel machinery.
