About The Position

Assist the sales and service teams by organizing, assisting customers with parts, general questions and scheduling of services and sales team with finalizing sale paperwork. Responsible for inventory and parts room along with assisting with cleaning and organizing the work and showroom areas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer Service experience required.
  • Practical experience with tools and equipment used in marine maintenance.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Above-average knowledge of: Microsoft Suite, CRM systems, Point of Service Systems; Internet Software.
  • Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to walk.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Notary work for financing.

Responsibilities

  • Answering sales and service customer calls and Scheduling customers for service or with sales associates.
  • Assist and finalize boat sale paperwork to include notary work for financing.
  • Processing warranty paperwork.
  • Assisting customers with parts.
  • Inventory and keep the parts room organized.
  • Working knowledge of customer systems, including Microsoft based products like Outlook, Excel and Customer Service programs.
  • Completing service records and repair documents.
  • Reading through repair and installation orders to determine the material, time, and equipment required to prep items for techs.
  • Assist with keeping work and showroom areas clean and organized.
  • Liaising and consulting with the Sales Manager, Buyer and other relevant professionals and vendors.
  • Enforces safety, health, and security rules.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as required by management.
