Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Outside Machinists for projects located in the Alameda, CA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $34/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Pass a drug screen
- Must have respirator fit certificate
Responsibilities
- Installation, overhaul, removal, repair, rebuilding, installation, and alignment of shipboard machinery including propeller shafts, bearings, engines, generators, and anchor windlasses
- Work on tugboats, ferries, Coast Guard cutters, cruise ships, pilot boats, barges, and other marine vessels
- Support ship repair and overhaul operations in the yard
- Other tasks as assigned
