Requirements
- 3-5 years of hands-on marine insulation work.
- Expertise with various insulation materials and their applications.
- Reliable transportation and a commitment to being punctual.
- Willingness to work in inclement weather, early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Apply insulation and coverings to piping, machinery, and systems for water, AC, refrigeration, and steam machinery.
- Insulate bulkheads and overheads using rubber, fiberglass hullboard, fiberglass pipe sections, calcium silicate, fiberglass tape/cloth, adhesives, and Tempmatt.
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute projects with precision.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment, such as knives, wire cutters, saws, tape measures, band saws, and stud guns, effectively.
- Design and install customized insulation systems tailored to specific applications.
- Apply lagging cloth with accuracy and craftsmanship.
