The Health and Safety Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all health and safety policies and procedures are implemented and that safe practices are adopted. They help to plan, implement, monitor and review the protective and preventative measures that are in place to keep employees safe and work to minimize operational losses, occupational health problems, incidents and injuries. This role will support safety oversight for marine and waterfront construction activities including barges, crane operations, pile driving, cofferdams, dredging, over-water work, and compliance with applicable U.S. Coast Guard regulations, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers / EM 385 requirements.
