Requirements

Marine or Industrial experience required
Knowledge of AC/DC theory
Problem solving
Punctual and deadline driven
Clear, effective, communication

Responsibilities

Electrical installation for new vessel construction
Building of custom panels
Installation of electric motors and controls
Cable installation, cable pulling, and cable terminations
Ancillary Electrical Services (feed circuits, navigation lighting, steering gear motors, alarm system functions)
Installation of packing tubes
Multiple cable transits, collars, conduit, and raceways
Lighting and ventilation
Grounding and bonding
Distribution system diagnosis (transformers, motors, load circuits)
Interior Communications work (alarm systems, amplified voice systems)
Ability to read and interpret drawings
