Fletcher Technical Community College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Marine Electrical Systems within the Energy & Advanced Technologies department. This role involves delivering engaging, hands-on instruction in marine electrical systems, electrical procedures, equipment use, and workplace safety. The instructor will teach assigned credit and/or non-credit courses, maintain a reliable presence, and develop course syllabi aligned with College requirements. A key aspect of the role is creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that fosters student success, respect, and professional growth. Responsibilities include monitoring student progress, providing feedback, advising students on career pathways, and ensuring instructional equipment is safe and functional. The instructor must remain accessible to students and collaborate with faculty and staff to support departmental and College goals. Participation in required trainings and adherence to College policies are also expected.
