About The Position

Western Branch Diesel, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, is seeking Marine Diesel Technicians / Mechanics to join our growing team in Portsmouth, VA. As part of a factory-authorized dealer and service network supporting leading marine and diesel engine manufacturers (including Volvo Penta, mtu, and Detroit Diesel), our technicians benefit from direct OEM training, advanced diagnostic tools, and consistent, high-quality work.

Requirements

• Good vision to inspect repair work
• Effective communication skills

• Experience with Volvo Penta, mtu, and Detroit Diesel engines

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls
• Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs to promptly address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns
• Commitment to safety and cleanliness
• Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes
