About The Position

We are looking for a talented Marine Application Engineer to join our team specializing in Marine Engineering for Cummins, Inc. in New Orleans, LA. In this role, you will make an impact by investigating and resolving integration and installation issues, owning problem resolution and documenting outcomes. You will apply and continuously improve installation and integration processes (e.g., IQA, OEM integration, product selection). You will use engineering tools and systems (Advisor, COLS, GCE) to support accurate, high-quality technical decisions. You will collaborate and negotiate with SMEs and VPI teams to deliver product data and installation requirements. You will make product selection, design, and integration decisions affecting OEM performance, quality, and optimization. You will serve as the primary technical liaison for customers, managing specifications, changes, and issue resolution. You will translate customer needs and voice of the customer into functional product and system requirements. You will ensure correct product application and installation by validating prototypes and installation quality. Cummins is an equal opportunity employer.
