About The Position

This role involves assisting marina guests and residents with various activities and amenities. The attendant will be responsible for ensuring a positive and productive atmosphere, handling guest arrivals, managing dock lines, and connecting customer utilities. They will also answer customer inquiries, process payments, and maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the marina property, including offices, docks, walkways, bathhouses, pool areas, and parking lots. The position requires the ability to make recommendations for local attractions and to work collaboratively with the Marina Manager.

Requirements

High work ethic, self-initiative, and always create a productive and positive atmosphere.
Someone who enjoys working outside in various weather conditions, near the water, and with boats.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds regularly
Ability to occasionally lift items over 50 pounds with assistance
Capability to bend, twist, kneel, climb ladders, and work on uneven or wet surfaces
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Will be required to work varying schedules to include weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Driver’s license is preferred but not required.
QuickBooks and Microsoft office proficiency welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

Be knowledgeable of all marina activities and amenities.
Be personable with marina guests & residents.
Assist in guest arrival, tying dock lines, and connecting customer electric and water to marina facilities.
Occasionally answer phone calls from customers regarding reservations & pricing after training.
Accept customer payments through QuickBooks after training.
Maintain cleanliness of marina office, docks, walkways, bath houses, pool area/furniture, and parking lots.
Ensure the property is free of debris and trash.
Assist pool operator with pool deep cleans when needed.
Consult with Marina Manager for daily duties/scheduling.
Be able to make recommendations for restaurants, shopping, etc. when asked by guests.
