About The Position

This position involves all aspects of supporting the Marching Band's activities with duties as assigned by lead faculty. This position requires moving instruments, equipment, uniforms and supplies up to 50 lbs. Student employee must be dependable, responsible, timely, flexible, thorough and accountable for your work. This is a fun, enjoyable and busy environment and we're looking for team members with these attributes to work with us. Previous band experience a plus.

Requirements

• Ability to lift & move musical instruments, equipment & uniforms up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility: Assist faculty before, during & after rehearsals & performances with projects as assigned.
• Must be dependable, responsible, timely, flexible, thorough & accountable for your work.
• May be required to travel with the band.

Nice To Haves

• Previous band experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organizing and distributing supplies, uniforms and equipment as directed.
• Photocopying, filing, distributing & collecting sheet music to / from musicians.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Twisting / turning while moving equipment.
• Assisting while on team travel.
