This Manufacturing Production Associate role is ideal for candidates with woodworking or carpenter experience who are eager to grow their skills in manufacturing and production. In this role, the Manufacturing Woodworking Carpenter Production Associate supports the production of home building components by assembling, cutting, handling, and preparing wood materials using production equipment, hand tools, hammers, and saws. A successful Manufacturing Production Associate is dependable, safety-focused, and thrives in a team-oriented manufacturing environment while contributing to efficient, high-quality woodworking and carpenter production output.

  • Experience in manufacturing, construction, woodworking, building materials, or production environments
  • Experience operating saws or production equipment
  • Familiarity with reading production drawings, work orders, or blueprints
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift and carry materials (up to 75 lbs; heavier items require team lifting assistance)
  • Ability to safely perform repetitive movements involving lifting, pushing, pulling, grasping, and material handling

Nice To Haves

  • Material handling or forklift experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assemble building components according to work orders, production specifications, and engineering drawings
  • Measure, cut, fasten, and prepare lumber and other materials for production
  • Operate saws, production equipment, and hand tools safely and efficiently
  • Assist with manufacturing activities to support production schedules and customer demand
  • Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the facility
  • Stage materials and finished products for production, storage, or shipment
  • Support inventory organization and material flow activities as needed
  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Verify measurements, specifications, and workmanship standards
  • Identify and report quality concerns, damaged materials, or production issues
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Safely operate tools, machinery, and production equipment
  • Report unsafe conditions or equipment concerns promptly
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to achieve production goals
  • Participate in training and skill development opportunities
  • Support additional production, warehouse, or yard activities as assigned
