About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Training Coordinator. This role will take place out of our growing facility in Hodges, SC. The Manufacturing Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and tracking training programs that ensure manufacturing employees are skilled, compliant, and productive. This role partners closely with operations, quality, safety, and HR to support onboarding, continuous improvement, and workforce development initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • 1 or more years of experience training or instructing others in a manufacturing, corporate, organizational, or professional setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with LMS (learning management system) or training tracking systems.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety practices, and shop‑floor operations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience delivering hands‑on or technical training in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Training, HR, Industrial Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and administer training programs for manufacturing employees, including onboarding, job skills, safety, quality, and compliance training.
  • Schedule training sessions and ensure appropriate coverage for production needs.
  • Deliver or facilitate training using classroom, hands‑on, and on‑the‑job instructional methods.
  • Maintain training materials, manuals, standard work instructions, and visual aids.
  • Track and document training completion using training databases or LMS systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, quality, and company training requirements (e.g., OSHA, ISO, internal standards).
  • Prepare training reports, audits, and metrics for management review.
  • Conduct training needs assessments in collaboration with supervisors and managers.
  • Support cross‑training, skills matrices, and certification programs.
  • Assist with developing career pathways, upskilling, and re‑skilling initiatives.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Partner with supervisors, engineers, and subject matter experts to develop effective training content.
  • Support new equipment, process launches, and change management efforts.
  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding training requirements and opportunities.
