About The Position

This position will participate in the technical build, test, and processing of Teledyne FLIR Ranger high definition camera - mid range systems (HDC- MR) in support of all phases of production.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related technical experience within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshooting skills and proficiency with setting up and using test and alignment equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and computer systems for digital work instructions, test data collection, traceability, reporting and communication.
• Practical problem-solving skills.
• Attention to technical details.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Collaboration, teamwork, and ability to contribute independently.
• Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s Degree in electronics or technical equivalent a plus.
• Technical versatility in electrical, mechanical, and/or optical alignment testing strongly preferred; infrared (IR) testing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform system level functional and optical performance testing and troubleshooting on a variety of challenging surveillance/defense sub-assemblies and finished end-product camera systems.
• Test camera systems and critical sub-assembly components in accordance to manufacturing test specifications (test instructions, test data sheets, functional ATP’s, optical alignment performance criteria and system discrepancy reporting).
• Interface with production team and technical support staff to maintain manufacturing quality and efficiency while actively participating in day-to-day manufacturing goals.
• Inspect and verify all daily work to ensure it is performed accurately and efficiently, according to all quality performance specifications.
• Interface with technical team to ensure all manufacturing test methods are standardized and documented to the latest versions.
• Support the maintenance of test fixtures and test equipment.
• As directed, provide support in test process improvement projects.
