  • Knowledge of PCBA and mechanical design.
  • Familiarity with hardware communication protocols.
  • Experience designing HASS- and ESS-related tests, including thermal and vibration tests.
  • Familiarity with AI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the manufacturing test engineering team, set objectives, guide initiatives, and assess team outcomes.
  • Oversee and improve manufacturing test strategies for each product to enable scalable operations and transition from pre-production to full-scale output.
  • Collaborate with product SEIT and development engineering on design testability and seamless production integration.
  • Develop manufacturing testing through improvements in automation, uniformity, and operational streamlining.
  • Maintain test capabilities across multiple products and manufacturing value streams, from system-level checkouts and acceptance testing to key component in-process validation.
  • Evaluate test data, compile findings, and identify product and process improvement opportunities.
  • Communicate strategic plans to stakeholders and guide platforms from pre-production (LRIP) through mass production (FRP).
  • Lead procurement and implementation of new test equipment, including cost-benefit and ROI analyses as needed.
  • Lead testing initiatives that enhance safety, reduce costs, improve quality, and increase productivity.
  • Cultivate innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the engineering department.
  • Serve as the technical authority for manufacturing test matters and advise on and troubleshoot complex issues.
