Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in test engineering or equivalent.
Experience developing and integrating manufacturing Rack/L11 test hardware using custom electronics, fixturing, and instrumentation.
Experience coding in Python, Bash, and Shell scripting to generate product-specific test plans and executing test processes.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Rack and L11 testing of server, storage, and networking products and with liquid cool system at the rack level for configuration and functional testing.
Experience in establishing system calibration, gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (R&R), and correlation study for each change management.
Experience with test stations bring-up, calibration and setup for production test purposes.
Experience with DFT and system level functional test (L10/L11/L12).
Knowledge with the Linux and other operating systems and common command line tools.
Ability to drive continuous improvement of test systems and processes for increased manufacturability.

Responsibilities

Design, build, optimize and deploy Rack and L11 test platforms for Google compute/storage/ML server at the global manufacturing partner factory.
Partner with the NPI team to define Design for Test (DFT) requirements and provide input to manufacturing test strategy.
Provide caliber manufacturing test engineering support for new and existing products.
Drive initiatives to improve test process efficiencies, improve test coverage, and reduce cost.
Analyze, troubleshoot and root cause manufacturing yield issues and data center field escapes. Drive sustaining test issues to closure with corrective and preventive measures.
