About The Position

As the Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for supporting assembly and in-line testing of Manufacturing operations as well as assembling, testing electronic, optical and mechanical sub-systems in the requested quantity, quality and time limit based on the orientations set by the Production Team Lead and/or Value Stream Manager. What you will accomplish together with us Supports manufacturing operations within the Manufacturing Department as defined by Production Team Lead and Value Stream Manager. Troubleshoot process & equipment problems promptly to minimize Manufacturing downtime. Assemble products to support Manufacturing Assembly teams in order to achieve daily production rates given by the Production Manager. Realize and control all his/her/their production operations with the requested quality, while respecting performance constraints and requirements (safety, security and environment) Know and follow the safety rules related to equipment and people Report with rigor and precision of their production to the shift leader / team leader Ensure the cleanliness and permanent storage of the work environment What will convince us High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing position, including: Assembling complex mechanical or electronic systems Troubleshooting and testing systems Configuring/installing software for new assembly setups Strong ability to interpret technical documentation and perform basic calculations Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Excellent computer literacy and technical aptitude Knowledge of materials, products, equipment and associated processes Excellent knowledge of quality, safety, security and environment standards & procedures Experience in transmitting scope of work to Production Manager Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate instructions to other team members. Requirements
