Manufacturing Technician – Wafer Separation - Swing Shift
About The Position
Keysight is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Manufacturing Technician to join the Die Fab department in the Separation area at its Santa Rosa, California site. The team supports the manufacture of Integrated Circuits and SiPs. The technician performs precise separation of production and prototype wafers, working with engineering, trainers, supervisors, maintenance, and other operators to support quality and manufacturing needs. The role requires independence and accountability, with work scope and complexity increasing as training is completed and new skills are developed. This position is on Swing Shift.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to strict quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team and communicate with supervisors, engineers, trainers, and maintenance personnel.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in an ESD-controlled environment.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments in a cross-functional environment.
- Must be a U.S. Person: a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment dedicated to semiconductor and SiP manufacturing.
- Work independently and collaboratively to meet production, quality, and operational objectives.
- Accurately handle, process, and document materials in accordance with safety and manufacturing requirements.
- Handle delicate and sensitive wafers using skilled hand-eye coordination.
- Support continuous improvement by learning new skills, providing feedback, and adapting to evolving processes.
