About The Position

Gaia Herbs is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for their extraction department. This role is responsible for the extraction, concentration, and/or adjusting of materials according to Batch Production Records (BPRs), adhering to cGMPs and SOPs within the manufacturing area. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Previous production experience is preferred.
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems is preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Must be able to do calculations and conversions using preset formula.

Responsibilities

Train to become a signed off operator capable of independent work.
Complete and pass all SOP’s/tests assigned for the position.
Perform all key aspects of the position proficiently, including cleaning and sanitation, disassembling and re-connecting equipment, performing start-up checks and adjustments, running and operating production proficiently, and resolving normal and routine machine interruptions.
Follow Batch Production Records (BPR) correctly.
Maintain current training requirements and certifications independently.
