About The Position

Signicast is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Manufacturing Technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process. This is a Day Shift position from 6:00 am - 6:00 pm on a 12-hour 2-2-3 rotating schedule. The starting wage depends on experience + applicable shift premiums. Dependable and reliable attendance is required for all positions. Available Manufacturing Technician Roles include Dip/Dewax Technician and Finishing Technician. Dip / De-Wax Technicians are responsible for coordinating the dipping of wax patterns into the ceramic slurry to develop the shell coat and then evaluating the wax from the mold. Finishing Technicians are responsible for performing a variety of assignments related to regular and special department functions to ensure the mold continuously flows through the Cell with minimal to no interruption in the process. Finishing Technicians are responsible for ensuring the parts are defect-free, meet customer specifications, and are shipped to the customer.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or HSED/GED equivalent preferred
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to learn new skills as needed
  • Ability to effectively communicate with other employees to share information, solve problems, and instruct or train lesser-skilled employees
  • Ability to read and interpret English documents such as part drawings, shop orders, work plans, and short correspondence
  • Ability to write standard reports and documentation
  • Frequently required to sit, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls
  • Occasionally required to stand, and/or walk
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Safety glasses and safety shoes must be worn in all manufacturing areas
