About The Position

Itron is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment to support efficient manufacturing operations. The role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely resolution of equipment failures. The successful candidate will use mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills, work independently and as part of a team, and help meet operational needs. Travel is 0–10%.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Mechatronics or a related degree, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• At least 1 year of related experience as a technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mentality.
• Desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• PLC troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems for production equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components to minimize downtime and operational disruption.
• Communicate with production supervision and support staff about equipment status and capabilities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.
• Assist engineers and support staff with special projects.
• Stay aware of product and process trends.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery and systems.
