About The Position

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join our Green Metals Team in Londonderry, NH, USA. Outokumpu is a multinational stainless steel producer. We aim to leverage the best available avenues in state of the art technologies and emerging disruptive innovations to establish a new paradigm in geopolitically secure and environmentally sustainable metals production.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Strong mechanical aptitude with basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to follow detailed procedures and accurately document process activities.
Basic computer and effective communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced pilot/R&D environment.
Ability to wear required PPE, including a PAPR (Power Air Purifying Respirator)

Nice To Haves

Industrial, manufacturing, steelmaking, foundry, or pilot plant experience preferred.
Molten metal and high-temperature processing experience preferred.
Forklift, crane, rigging, or material-handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate and monitor pilot-scale furnaces, molten metal processes, and related equipment.
Support startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and process improvements.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs.
Follow operating procedures and maintain required process data and documentation.
Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Comply with company, OSHA, environmental, and safety requirements.
