Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Entry level - no previous manufacturing or other experience is required
  • Ability to sit or stand for minimum of 8 hours
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs individually or up to 65 pounds as part of a team lift.
  • Requires frequent object handling
  • Requires frequent fine hand coordination.
  • Requires frequent simple hand grasping.
  • Requires frequent firm hand grasping.
  • Requirement of 20/25 vision (with or without corrective lenses).
  • Read, write English and perform basic math skills as job duties require.
  • Good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform one or more functions on the assembly lines including but not limited to: Final packaging or labeling of products, Kitting and issuing components to Work Orders, Proofing labels to ensure accuracy, Stocking Finished Goods shelves
  • Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain in GMP fashion
  • Operate general production equipment (sealers, autoclave, stir plates, etc.)
  • Receive and distribute supplies into the production area as necessary.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear proper safety gear at all times while on the manufacturing or warehouse floor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for manufacturing, assembly and/or packaging of medical device products.
  • Manufacturing Technicians will be trained to follow standard operating procedures, environmental health and safety guidelines and any other related regulations which could apply to the specific job.
  • Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) will be followed during the manufacturing of our medical devices and associated device documentation.
  • Must be able to read, write English and perform basic math skills as job duties require.
  • May occasionally require work in a clean room environment wearing special garments
  • Understanding and complying with hazardous materials and hazardous waste regulations for job duties such as: proper handling, storage, hazardous waste in-house treatment using neutralization and dilution systems, and labeling requirements for hazardous materials and hazardous waste.
