About The Position

The Manufacturing Technician supports the production, testing, and installation of electrical control panels and related equipment. This hands-on role includes panel assembly, wiring, labeling, basic testing, and documentation support. The technician also assists with shipping, receiving, and off-site coordination with manufacturing partners. The position helps ensure products meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

The role is based in Beachwood, Ohio, and requires 5–10% travel. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Basic understanding of electricity.
• Experience soldering and crimping.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States; the employer cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of professional electrical panel-building experience.
• Overhead crane and lift-truck license.

Responsibilities

• Build panels by mounting and wiring components.
• Assist with shipping and receiving.
• Print wire tags, terminal board tags, and panel tags as required.
• Coordinate with off-site manufacturing partners to verify progress, enforce standards, and transport parts and prints.
• Perform basic testing and inspection of manufactured equipment on-site and off-site.
• Assemble cables using soldering and crimping connectors.
• Collect and prepare documentation for instruction books.
• Perform field installation and panel modifications or repairs.
• Find ways to contribute to the Company’s short- and long-term goals.
