About The Position

Maven Genetics is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Manufacturing Technician to join our Operations team on the night shift. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will operate production equipment used for infused pre-rolls, AIO vape devices, and 510 cartridges, while also supporting quality control, packaging, labeling, material accountability, and batch documentation. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality products, follows procedures carefully, and can maintain accuracy and productivity in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience operating production equipment or performing detailed manufacturing work.
  • Ability to follow written procedures, work orders, and product specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic math skills and ability to reconcile counts and weights.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to recognize equipment or process issues.
  • Ability to work independently while communicating effectively when support is needed.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and productivity.
  • Reliable attendance and availability for the established night-shift schedule.
  • Ability to work in a secure cannabis manufacturing environment.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in cannabis manufacturing, packaging, distribution, or regulated warehouse operations.
  • Experience with infused pre-roll, AIO, or 510 cartridge production.
  • Experience with Jiko infusion equipment or Credence vape cartridge equipment.
  • Experience performing QC, packaging, labeling, or batch documentation in a cannabis manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with batch traceability, material reconciliation, equipment cleaning, and changeovers.
  • Familiarity with METRC or other track-and-trace systems.
  • Previous evening or overnight manufacturing experience.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve daily workflows, productivity, or efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate equipment used for infused pre-roll and vape production.
  • Verify product, strain, batch, materials, hardware, and scheduled quantities before beginning production.
  • Follow approved operating procedures and product specifications.
  • Monitor equipment and production runs for consistency, quality, and performance.
  • Perform authorized adjustments and basic troubleshooting and escalate unresolved equipment issues.
  • Complete equipment changeovers between products, strains, batches, and hardware types.
  • Perform QC checks throughout production and packaging.
  • Inspect products for fill accuracy, weight consistency, damage, leakage, closures, packaging, and other quality issues.
  • Identify and separate defective or questionable units for review.
  • Document QC findings, rejects, rework, and material loss.
  • Communicate recurring quality concerns to the Manufacturing Lead or supervisor.
  • Package pre-rolls, AIOs, and 510 cartridges according to product specifications.
  • Verify packaging components and labels match the applicable product and batch.
  • Apply required seals, closures, labels, and packaging components.
  • Verify product, strain, batch, and label information before and during production.
  • Maintain proper batch separation during changeovers.
  • Reconcile packaged and labeled quantities with batch records.
  • Review shift handoffs and nightly production priorities.
  • Track completed units, rejects, remaining materials, downtime, shortages, and waste.
  • Complete Batch Production Work Orders accurately and in real time.
  • Record required product, batch, workflow, weight, quantity, start/end time, break, downtime, and rework information.
  • Report discrepancies, equipment issues, shortages, and quality concerns promptly.
  • Clean equipment, tools, and workstations according to approved procedures.
  • Complete required cleaning and material clearance between products and batches.
  • Perform assigned equipment inspections and routine operator care.
  • Follow PPE, safe-handling, shutdown, and facility-security procedures.
  • Provide a clear end-of-shift handoff detailing completed work, remaining production, and unresolved issues.
  • Leave equipment, materials, and work areas clean and organized for the incoming shift.
