Manufacturing Technician (Level 1 or 2) Weekday Night Shift
About The Position
Northrop Grumman's Space Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Technician (Level 1 or 2) to work with their Case Value Stream Operations Weekday Night Shift team. This position will be located at their Clearfield, UT facility. The role involves hands-on activities and tasks associated with the manufacturing of composite rocket cases, which may include tooling, assembly, disassembly, case surface preparation, and operation of composite winding equipment. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the work area and facilities, and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor. They will participate as a team member to positively influence and enhance the safety, quality, cost, and scheduling of their team. This is a weekday night shift position working Mondays – Thursdays from 6pm to 4:30am, with overtime worked as necessary. The position can be filled at either Level 1 or Level 2.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated mechanical or technical ability (Level 1)
- 2 years of Composite or Mechanical work experience (Level 2)
- Ability to follow planning requirements and to read, comprehend and follow established written instructions without deviation
- Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math and measurement functions
- Must be able and willing to perform shift work, overtime as required and work on weekends and holidays
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license
- U.S. Citizenship

Responsibilities
