1st Shift Manufacturing Technician
About The Position
At Rose Medical, we design and manufacture lifesaving medical devices — and we build the equipment that makes them too. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced, hands-on Manufacturing Technician to join our first shift team and help support our expanding operations. While we’ve proudly developed talent from within, we are currently looking to add a technician with prior technical and troubleshooting experience who can help strengthen our team and support our continued growth. Requirements
- 3+ years of Manufacturing Technician or similar hands-on technical experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience diagnosing equipment issues in a production environment
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Nice To Haves
- Low-voltage electrical diagnostics experience
- Manual machining experience (lathe, mill, surface grinder, etc.)
- Plastics or plastic forming equipment experience
- Pneumatic or mechanical system troubleshooting
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or wiring diagrams
- Experience supporting manufacturing equipment or automation
Responsibilities
- Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain plastic forming and manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose equipment issues and implement solutions to keep production running efficiently
- Support and refine manufacturing processes to improve quality and productivity
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams on equipment improvements and new builds
- Train and support operators on equipment use and best practices
- Maintain documentation, fixture files, and process records
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and quality requirements
- Assist with preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
